What file formats are supported?
Plain text (.txt), EPUB, and PDF documents are supported. Please note that PDFs must contain a selectable text layer — scanned images of pages cannot be processed.
How does the free character allowance work?
Every device receives 50,000 characters once. Deleting your guest account or reinstalling the app does not reset this device-scoped Keychain allowance.
When are books deleted from the server?
Uploaded files and generated MP3 audiobooks are automatically purged from our servers after 3 days. Use the download option in the app to keep your files permanently.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your Apple ID, select Subscriptions, and tap Nova Reader. You can cancel there at any time.
